Calendar Troubleshooting

Symptom: Google events never appear

Cause: Google is not connected, or sync has not run since connecting.

Fix: Connect from the calendar header, run sync, then Reload. Re-check connection status if chips still miss Meet URLs.

Symptom: Deal closures / tasks / filings missing from the grid

Cause: Their overlay layer is toggled off in the sidebar, or source-module read scope hides those rows.

Fix: Enable the layer, clear country/type filters, and confirm read access on the source module.

Symptom: iCal subscription is stale

Cause: External calendars poll subscriptions on their own schedule — minutes to hours.

Fix: Force-refresh the subscription client-side; if still stale after a few hours, re-copy the signed link (a rotated secret invalidates the old URL).

Symptom: Cannot delete a chip

Cause: Only owned custom events are deletable; everything else is owned by its source record.

Fix: Edit the source record (task date, meeting, deadline) instead of deleting the chip.
