Definitions (Settings → Lifecycles)
Section titled “Definitions (Settings → Lifecycles)”Lifecycle Studio is restricted to users with settings:manage. It offers a definition library, a builder/review/version surface, New lifecycle, and a link to Events. Definitions are versioned — stage, transition, and board changes land in new versions rather than rewriting history. The legacy /lifecycles and /lifecycles/events URLs redirect here and to lifecycle events respectively.
Lifecycle events
Section titled “Lifecycle events”Lifecycle Events is an append-only stream of transition evidence. Search by record, stage, command, or correlation id; filter by definition; page through results; open the inspector to trace downstream consumers of a transition.
Working a record stage
Section titled “Working a record stage”On a governed record you see a stage ribbon with enter/transition controls (gating is enforced — unavailable transitions stay unavailable). The Stage Workbench shows the per-stage playbook: checklists (completions are append-only, unchecking is not supported), required actions, and draft-template buttons that create one artifact per record and kind.
