Campaigns Sequences Troubleshooting
Symptom: "Publish a graph version before activating" when switching a sequence on
Cause: The publish-before-activate guard blocks activation until a graph version has been published.
Fix: Open the builder, validate/save the graph, press Publish, then activate the sequence.
Symptom: "Lead is already enrolled in this sequence"
Cause: The enrollment already exists — leads are unique per sequence.
Fix: Open the sequence's enrollment list to find the existing record; pause/resume it there instead of re-enrolling.
Symptom: A sequence shows only an empty start/end graph
Cause: The visual builder reads stored nodes; very old step-based sequences with no saved steps fall back to a bare converted graph.
Fix: Rebuild the steps in the builder and save — saving rewrites both the graph nodes/edges and the legacy step list.
Symptom: Emails never leave for an enrolled contact
Cause: Delivery policy defaults to manual_review sending mode, and suppression/opt-in checks plus daily send limits can hold mail back.
Fix: Check the sequence's delivery policy (sending mode, daily limit, throttle minutes), verify the recipient isn't on the suppression list, and confirm an SMTP domain/profile is configured.
Symptom: "Campaign not found" on a campaign a teammate created
Cause: With access level "own", campaign reads are restricted to campaigns you created.
Fix: Ask a System Manager to set your campaigns access level to "all".
